Three Haikus for Horn and Violoncello |
|||||||
Three short pieces in approximated Haiku form upon translation into a musico-temporal medium. Each piece compares, contrasts and combines respectively the prime numbered overtones of the simplest sounding body on each instrument (on the horn with no valves depressed and on the cello's C-string). Formatted in such a way as to visually resemble written Haiku as well as using pseudo-Haiku as tempo descriptions. |
