Spike’s, Allston, MA

1 x ’57 T-bird, 1 x Sinatra Dog (made “My Way” with chili and bleu cheese)

This was Georg’s going away party. Tomorrow he leaves for Europe, the land of questionable dogs. The T-bird is great and it is one of my favourites. The Sinatra Dog with chili and bleu cheese was my tribute to Hungry Herb’s. Herb’s is an amazing sub shop in Medford. They have 300 different kinds of chicken and steak tip subs on the menu. They are the Spike’s of the sub scene. Anyway, one of my favourite subs is chicken tips covered in chili and bleu cheese. Spike’s version didn’t quite stack up. I’m not big on their bleu cheese. That’s probably why I haven’t had a buffalo dog for about 3 years.
