Company softball game (Playoffs Round 3) vs. Rhodia, Arsenal Field, Watertown, MA

1 x Pearl’s Kountry Klub 1/4lb all-beef, grilled by Mike on a fresh white bun, Sara Lee’s 3 Pepper Mustard

The dream is over. We lost, but we have no regrets. It was lousy that a bunch of people showed up who had never played with us before, and the coach decided to let them play anyway. They really hurt us. One of them was loafing around the bases and got thrown out at the plate. Another one let a very catchable ball get by him in centerfield, and it went for a grandslam. That really hurt because we only lost by 2 or 3 runs. Anyway, I’m almost sick of these dogs. I’ve been eating one a week for the last 2 months. The mustard is still good, but we could use some variety here. Like some kraut or chili. Good thing the season is over. I had to eat the dog in Anastasia’s car as she gave me a ride to the T. Then I went to the Red Sox game. They beat the Blue Jays.
