Georg and Andrew’s Apartment, Brookline, MA

½ of a 1/4lb Pearl’s All Beef Country Club, steeped in apple juice, basted with BBQ sauce while grilled on the porch (charcoal), submarine roll (toasted), Grey Poupon Dijon mustard, additional BBQ sauce, grape jelly

Summer is here. We played whiffle ball at the park. John could not hit my knuckleball. I threw one inning and stuck out two. A gang of little black kids destroyed our game. We were pretty tired by that point anyway. We let them hit home runs, but they got cocky, so we started pegging them. Georg and Andrew had hot dogs left over from their Flag Day BBQ. We made frozen drinks. Mixed berry daquaris (from concentrate) are not a good idea. After that, we played frisbee at the park until it was dark. We got tired.
